For most people, the Tesla Model S was the first mass produced electric vehicle to be seen across the globe. Since then, the US carmarker has grown to become the global leader in the vehicle electrification arms race.
The Model S/X, however run on suspension layouts that Powerflex would recognise from well-known and much-loved European brand but weighs in 30% heavier than a similarly sized 5-Series saloon.
With headline acceleration figures, portly kerb weight and bushes made from natural rubber, it is no wonder the wear rate of bushes and ball joints can catch owners by surprise, giving way to knocks, clunks and accelerated tyre wear.
Pipercross has applied what has been learned from years of manufacturing to provide a reliable and durable bolt-on replacement solution, with polyurethane bushes pre-installed in quality Chassis Technology Europe (CTE) supplied wishbones.
These kits are composed of forged aluminum control arms, pre-assembled with Powerflex’s Black 95A duro bushes and it is designed to be a direct replacement upgrade for the original pressed steel assembly. Thanks to the composition of the Powerflex kit arms, there’s a weight reduction of approximately 0.5kg per arm that allows for greater chassis control and performance.
PFF75K-502 Front Lower Aft Link Inc Bush Kit uses Powerflex’s Black 95A material combined with zinc-plated outer shells increasing bush stiffness by over 100% to sharpen steering precision and response.
PFF75K-504 Front Upper Control Arm Inc Bush Kit is a pressed steel replacement wishbone pre-fitted with zinc-plated outer shells and Black 95A bushes for ultimate chassis control, performance and durability.
PFF75K-504G Front Upper Control Arm Inc Bush Kit Camber Adjustable features the same spec bushes as above and comes supplied with CNC-machined offset sleeves and an adjusting spanner for on-car camber adjustment of up to +/- 0.5 degrees.

Powerflex’s bushes are designed to be able to withstand greater load and control the amount of unwanted flex in the suspension, that allows for a more precise and accurate alignment.
